DEMAND FOR AN EMBARGO CANADIAN OUTPUT DISCUSSED Press - Association—By Telegraph—Copyright OTTAWA, February 10. “ Canada cannot stop wars by prohibiting the export of nickel,” said Mr W. D. Euler, Minister of Trade, in reply to an .Opposition demand for an embargo. “ Only 10 per cent, of the Canadian output is utilised for munitions, and. the prohibition of exports to Japan would not prevent Japanese purchases unless export by all other countries was banned.”
