GERMANY’S YOUTH HOSTELS
\ ' Germany has 1,800 youth hostels. All the rest of Europe put together has 1,777, of which 316 are in Great Britain. During 1936 7,500,000 people passed a night in a German youth hostel, and of these 196,000 were foreigners, among them 52,800 English, 31,700 Danes, and Czechs.
