The national secretary of the New Zealand Spanish Medical Aid Committee acknowledges the following donations towards the cost of sending further medical aid to the people of wartorn Spain;— Previously acknowledged £1,020 14 1 South road drainage job (25th collection) 0 8 0 Palmerston North Committee 10 0 0 Collection, Mr C. Soumaras 0 11 3 Mr C. Soumaras 10 0 Sale of pamphlets 0 10 Total £1,032 14 4 A telegram has been received from the _ Wellington Committee that enthusiastic meetings were held for Sister Lowson, with a collection of £46 and cheques promised, amounting to £125. The National Committee expects warm welcomes throughout New Zealand for Sister Lowson, who, at great personal sacrifice, has been nursing the wounded and the sick in Spain for over a year. She will tell the people of Dunedin her experiences in Spain.
