The appointment of Mr W. _ R.M'Kean, S.M., as principal stipendiary magistrate in Auckland in succession to Mr Wyvern Wilson, S.M., has been advised by the Department of Justice.! The appointment will come into effect next Wednesday, the date of the expiry, of Mr Wilson’s three months’ leave of absence. In addition to Mr M'Kean the Auckland Bench includes Mr C. R.
