FRIENDLY SOCIETIES.

TO THE EDITOR. Sir,— Anyone who has any knowledge whatever of friendly society affairs could hot help but be amused at the letter by “ F.S. Member.” It is quite evident that he does not know Mr C. C. Robertson, nor is he aware of the intimate knowledge that gentleman has of friendly society affairs. It is also very evident that ‘ F.S. Member s education as far as friendly societies and their finance are concerned has been sadly neglected. I would advise him to call on Mr Robertson, care of Robertson, M'Beath Ltd., when I am sut© h© will find out a few things about friendly societies that will open his eyes. The editor has my permission to supply “F.S. Member” with my name and address, and if he cares to call on mo I shall endeavour to demonstrate to him the use of friendly societies at the present time. I am, Friendly Society Secretary. December 1.
