Send your answers to Big Brother Bill, care of ‘ Evening Star, Stuart street, Dunedin, C.X. Mark the envelopes “ Competition. FIND THE CRICKET TERMS. (Under 10 years. Prise, one shilling.) In each of.the following couplets is a missing word or words, indicated by dots for the number of letters. Each missing word or words is a well-known cricket term:— The prisoner looked very pale. The speaker stopped and bit his lip; For he had made an awful .... A CHINESE SONG. (Over 10 years. Prize, one shilling and sixpence.) The verses were printed as a song sung by » Chinese lady, English letters being used in place of the Chinese. Can you read the song? With a little study it is not difficult.
