Port Whangarei sailed last evening for Auckland, Tauranga, and Whangarei via Timaru and Lyttelton. Holmlea sailed last evening for Wellington, New Plymouth, and Waikato via Timaru and Lyttelton. Waipiata arrived yesterday afternoon from Auckland via ports, and after discharge will dock for survey at Port Chalmers. She will sail on Monday afternoon for Oamaru, Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland. Gale arrived from Lyttelton this morning to load for Wellington, Picton, and Wanganui via ports. Waimarino left Auckland to-day for Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is due here on December 2. She will sail on December 4 for Timaru, Lyttelton, Wellington, and Auckland Kairaai is due on Friday, December 3, from Bluff, to load for Wellington, Nelson, and New Plymouth via ports. Wainui is due on December 6, and after discharge will undergo survey at Port Chalmers. She will resume her usual run on Saturday. December 11, loading for Napier and Gisborne via ports. Port Waikato is due on Wednesday to load and sail the same day for Auckland via Timaru and Lyttelton. Holmglen is due on Wednesday to load and sail the same day for_Wellington. City of Manila left New York on October 11 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She arrived at Auckland on November 11, and is due here on Monday. She will sail on Tuesday for Sydney. Salamaua left New Plymouth yesterday to complete discharge of sulphur at Dunedin. Sydney Maru left Moji on October 24 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She arrived at Auckland on November 21, and is due here on December 5. Napier Star left Liverpool on October 10 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. She arrived at Auckland on November 13, and is due at Port Chalmers on November 30. Hauraki left Los Angeles on October 23 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin. Johnson left San Francisco on October 31 for Auckland, Wellington, and Dunedin with a cargo of bulk motor spirit for the Vacuum Oil Company. She arrived at Auckland on November 19, and berthed at Dunedin this morning. Parracombe, with a cargo of newsprint for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Timaru, and Dunedin, left Liverpool, Nova Scotia, on November 6. She is due at Auckland on December 16, and here about December 24. Matakana left Liverpool on November 7 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, and Dunedin, and is due at Auckland on December 15 and here on December 31.

Port Campbell sailed from London on November 12 for Auckland, Dunedin, and Bluff. Cornwall left Liverpool on November 20 for Auckland, Wellington, Lyttelton, Dunedin and New Plymouth. She is due at Auckland on December 30, and here on January 17. Kaimata sailed from Montreal on November 19 for main New Zealand ports, and is due at Auckland on December 25. INTERISLAND EXPRESS. The' interisland express steamer Rangatira, arrived at Lyttelton from Wellington at 6.40 this morning. Passengers and mails for the south connected with the express. AUSTRALIA-NEW ZEALAND. Awatea left Sydney on November 28 for Wellington, where she arrived yesterday. She will sail to-day for Auckland, where she will leave on November 29 for Sydney, being due there on December 2. Wanganella left Wellington on November 26 for- Sydney, where she is due on November 29. She will leave the same day for Melbourne, where she is due on December 1, leaving the same day for Sydney, where she is due on December 3. , Monterey left Auckland yesterday for Sydney and ‘Melbourne. She is due at Sydney on November 29 and at Melbourne on December 3. She is to leave Melbourne on December 6 and Sydney on December 10 for Auckland, where she is due on December 13. Aorangi left Sydney on November 25 for Auckland, where she is duo on November 29. Niagara is to leave Auckland on December 14 for Sydney, where she is expected on December 18. Mariposa is to leave Auckland on December 24 for Sydney, where she is due on December 27. She will leave Sydney on December 29 for Melbourne, where she is expected on December 31. Karetu was to commence loading at Newcastle on November 23. and will complete at Port Kembla and Sydney for Bluff. Dunedin. Timaru, and T.vttelton. She will clear Sydney on Noveihher 29, and is duo here on December 7.

Karepo will load Christmas fruits at Melbourne from the Nardana on November 29 for Bluff, Dunedin, Lyttelton. and Wellington, and should reach here on December 5. Karetu is expected to load at Hobart towards the end of January for South Island ports. TRANSPACIFIC MAIL SERVICES. —Northbound.— Mariposa left Sydney on November 8 and Melbourne on November 12 for San Francisco, where she is due on November 30 via Auckland (arrived November 15).
