SERVICE IN REGENT'S PARK NON-MILITARY CEREMONY. Preaa Association —By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, November 11. A non-military armistice service was held at Regent’s Park. It was attended by ex-servicemen without medals and other prominent figures who did not approve of a militarist display. The gathering vowed that the sacrifice or the war dead would not be repudiated. JOURNALIST’S SUGGESTION. LONDON, November 12. (Received November 13, at 8 a.m.) The ‘ Daily Herald. ’ in an article contributed by ■Mr Hannen Swaffer, suggests that the armistice service should be stopped.
