GILLESPIE’S BEACH. A wash up of 430 z lOdwt was obtained for 123 hours by the Gillespie’s Beach Gold Dredging Company for the week ended yesterday. The dredge worked on the lagoon side of the cut. LONDON MEAT MARKET. The Bank of New Zealand has received the following advice from its London Office as at the close of business yesterday:—Frozen Meat.—The market for wethers is quiet and unchanged, while tho market for ewes and lambs is firm, and there is a moderate demand. Wethers: Light, 4id to s|d per lb; heavy, 3|d to 4Jd -per lb. Ewes: 2Jd to 4d per lb. Lambs: Twos, 73d to 7£d per lb; eights, 7|d to 7|d per lb; fours, 7id to 7jd per lb; seconds, 7jd to 7j|d per lb.
