DUNEDIN STOCK EXCHANGE A QUIET MORNING QUOTATIONS REMAIN STEADY A comparatively quiet call-over was experienced on ilie local Stock Exchange this morning, values generally showing little material alteration. Australian mining showed a slight firming on yesterday’s quotations, but business was quiet. The banking section remained steady, though sellers’ price for National of Australasia (cont.) rose 2s, and Union Is. There 1 was no change in the shipping section. . In meat, preserving buyers price for South Otago breezing rose 5s to £5 ss, with a seller wanting £6 10s. Waitaki Farmers’ Freezing dropped to £1 7s, a decline of 2s buyer, no seller. In the miscellaneous section Broken Hill Proprietary rose Is 6d buyer, no seller, and buyers’ price for rights rose 9d, also no seller. Dominion Fertiliser debentures showed an increase of £l, but sellers were not tempted. Mining sections were quiet, and Government loans did not attract much attention.
