MEETING GF COMMITTEE At the first meeting of the newlyelected committee of the Oamaru Friendly Bay Society, the president (Mr E. H. Coker) extended a welcome to Mr W. Burns. The overseer (Mr G. Todd) reported that the two men employed under scheme 13 were doing good work, and were bringing tho playing areas into excellent order. It was decided to hold the annual gala on the afternoon and evening of Saturday, January 29, and to apply to the Oamaru Borough Council for permission to hold the usual badge day prior to the gala.
