PROPOSED MUNICIPAL CONTROL CITY COUHGIL T 8 DISCUSS REPORT The City Council on Monday night will discuss the report of Mr R. E, Herron, manager of the Wellington municipal milk supply, on the proposal to establish a similar scheme in Dunedin. The General Committee of the City Council reports_ having given preliminary consideration to Mr Herron’s report, copies of which have been sent to each member of the council. In view of the magnitude of the question and the important policy aspects involved the committee is of the opinion that in the first instance the council as a
whole should have the opportunity ot discussing the report and expressing it# view on the major aspects, more particularly as regards the alternatives referred to in the report for the reorganisation of the industry.
