Fergus. The main object of the fete is to give soldier patients, engaged in vocational work, a special opportunity for disposing of samples of their handiwork. On stalls will be displayed a variety . of articles in leather, wicker, etc., fashioned by the patients. Designs and colour schemes are very pleasing, and patrons will have a wide choice of articles very suitable for the Christmas season. Profits go to the men entirely. Excellent music will be provided throughout the afternoon by the Band of the Ist Battalion. Miss Lily Stevens’s pupils will present some specially attractive dance displays. The Ladies’ Committee will dispense afternoon tea and ice cream. The Home grounds, will make a delightful setting for the fete.
