MUNICIPAL GOLF LINKS.
TO THE EDITOR. Sir, —Having played on the Chisholm Park links, I wish to say, how delighted I am to have enjoyed such a pleasant afternoon. The great advantage of the location is its easy access to the city, without any climb whatsoever, and this in itself must surely entice golf patrons who are getting on in years to patronise this course. The greens, I think, are in wonderful order, and with more attention to the fairways, will in time surpass any links in Dunedin. Mr Tannook'and his staff have indeed done good work, and I wish to congratulate them. What I hope to see built in time is a large pavilion, with lockers, balcony with outlook to sea, and even a _refreshment stall. However, this will come in time, and I predict this course will be a real picnic one. Another suggestion I might mention is that ot a parking area for cars.—l am, etc., November 4. Enthusiast.
