OTAGO ASSOCIATION The twelfth annual report of the Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association states;— The year was started with a credit balance of £35 5s lid, and finished) with a credit of £2l 9s 6d. The association has now 2D clubs on its hooks, with a membership of 493 —an increase of six members over last year’s figures. Fifteen local clubs entered for tho interclub matches, which "were played on Tuesdays. The clubs which entered four rinks for these games were:— Green Island, Kaikorai, North-east Valley, Otago, and St. Kilda. Winner of the Donald Stuart Banner, St. Clair Club; runners-up, St. Kilda Club. Entries for the Saturday rink games for the Hislop Cup were received from the following clubs :—Anderson’s Bay, Caversham, Dunedin, Green Island, Kaikorai, Logan Park. North-east Valley. Otago, Otago Ladies’ Bowling Association, Bosyn, and Vest liar-
hour. Winners, St. Hilda Club; run-ners-up, Dunedin Club. Fourteen clubs entered for the champion of champions contest. Winner, Mrs S. Austin (St. Clair) ; runnerup, Mrs T. Stewart (Dunedin). Mrs Austin has won the champion contest for two years in succession witbowt the Joss of a “ life :: o,n either occasion.
