The ‘ News Chronicle ’ says the Home Office refused two correspondents of the Berlin newspaper ‘ Lokal Anzeiger,’ and a representative of the Graf Reichschach News Agency, permission to stay in Britain, alleging “ improper activities.” The ‘ News Chronicle ’ adds; “ When the British Government made the original complaint the Berlin authorities apparently assumed it w’as their journalistic work which was disapproved, but Whitehall has now convinced them that the Nazi journalists have been at least indiscreet.
