Arch Druid Bro. A. Fowler presided over the meeting of Lily of the Valley Lodge on Wednesday last, Welcome visitors were P.D.P. Bro. H. Tyrrell, V.A. Bro. Fraser, of Linden Lodge, P.A. Bro. R. Binder, of Ivanhoe Lodge, and A.D. Bro. Le Brun, of Pride of Mornington Lodge. An invitation was received from the Royal Arch _ Chapter to attend the monthly meeting on August 10. The lodge decided to take two pages in the 1938 syllabus. Three candidates were initiated. P.A. Bro. H. Winter and M.C. Bro. C._ Carolin reported that everything wa.s in readiness for the annual dance on August 12. P.D.P. Bro. Tyrrell presented his report on tho Beazley Banner and received a vote of thanks from the lodge. The Arch Druid reported on attending tho presentation of .the Ross-Stewart Shield to West Harbour Lodge and on the annual church parade, held on August 1. A.D. Bro. F. C. Smith was greeted with a good attendance at the meeting of All Nations Lodge. It was announced that the grand president and his officers would be present on quarter night, and an effort is being made to secure a large muster of members. The Syllabus Committee presented an attractive syllabus for the ensuing ■year, which waa adopted, and Bros. Ferguson, Hodge, Connor, and Bungard were appointed to carry out the arrangements. Bro. J. Donaldson was elected a V.A.B, and installed by P.G.P. Bro. Jacobson; After business the members spent an enjoyable time at various games, and before separating were the guests of the A.D. at supper..
