HEW TRADE TREATY PROCLAIMED Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright WASHINGTON, August 6. • (Received August 7, at 1 p.m.) A new Russo-American commercial trea]ty for a year has been proclaimed, Russia agreeing to purchase at least 40,000,000 dollars worth of American goods in 1938 and the United States granting unconditional most-favoured nation treatment to Russia for the first time.
