PENSION AND HEALTH BILL
NDT READY TILL AFTER CHRISTMAS BUT WILL PASS DURING SESSION [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, August 6. The National Superannuation and Health Bill, which will probably he the most important piece of legislation of the coming session, will not he ready for presentation till after Christmas, according to a statement by Mr Savage. The measure would be passed during the coming session, he said, but he expected the session to run into the New Year, when the Bill would be dealt with. Ho was not in a position to say what major legislation would ho considered during the session, hut he indicated that the Budget and the Estimates would bo introduced early. Ho had minor Bills that would be presented, hut had not yet had time to study tho full programme.
