TO-MORROW NIGHT'S WRESTLING
When news was received that Wescoatt, who was injured at Palmerston North, would be unable to wrestle “ Strangler ” Lewis here, the Otago Association was pleased to learn that Glen Wade was on his way to New Zealand, and his services were immediately asked for. Wade will be remembered best for his great match
with M'Cready three years ago, and that contest is the standard by which wrestling matches are still judged. Wade has been campaigning in Australia for the past two years. As a wrestler, he is on the same level as “ Strangler ” Lewis, and is as well versed as the latter in all the scientific moves. Lewis will not be meeting a young wrestler eager to smash his way to victory, but a seasoned campaigner like himself, who is wise to every hold and counter in the game. Wrestling will be seen at its best with these two scientific men in the ring. Further particulars are advertised.
