YESTERDAY'S SITTING la the Supreme Court yesterday afternoon, before His Honour Mr Justice Kennedy, Mr N. W. Allan applied for further provision from tne estate of Elizabeth Ureaver, under the Family Protection Act, for Christian Armour Drcaver, a son of the deceased. ’ , Mr W. F. Forrester appeared tor tho Perpetual Trustees and Agency Company, tho trustee in the estate, and for any infant children concerned, and Mr J. J. S. Sinclair for the other members of the family. . Mr Allan said that the plaintiff, who was 52 years of age, and a cripple, had been bora in Glasgow, and had been left in charge of Mrs Dreaver s sister. He had worked at casual occupations in Scotland and Canada until he was 31, when ho had returned to live in Scotland. He was a married man with no children. Counsel said that the other members of the family were agreeable to assistance being given to their brother out of the estate, and asked His Honour to consent to the draft order filed. Mr Forrester and Mr Sinclair agreed that the parties concerned were quite satisfied regarding tho draft order submitted. His Honour said: I think the relief proposed should be granted. It is creditable to all the parties concerned that they should have arranged to settle this matter in the way that they have done. The order would be made. IN DIVORCE. Violet Mattingley v. George Thomas M.attingley, petition for divorce under a mutual agreement for separation for a period of three years. Mr J. G. Warrington appeared for the petitioner and Mr F. W. Hanan for the respondent. His Honour granted a decree nisi, to bo moved absolute at the expiration of three months. CHARGING ORDER. Dunedin Loan and Finance Company v. E. R. Mauder, motion to make absolute a charging order in respect of 800 fully-paid-up shares in Parker, Halliday Ltd. Mr F M Hanan appeared in support of the motion, and His Honour made an order directing that the shares stand charged with the payment of £4O Os ,10d, together with costs.
