MEN COMMITTED FOR SENTENCE [Pm Ukited Peks Association.] WELLINGTON,, .August. 4. . A series of charges were proceeded with in the Magistrate’s Court to-day before Mr W. F. Stilwell, S.M., in which six young men, between 19 and. 23 years old, are allegedly concerned, with theft and breaking and entering, and four of the men with robbery tinder Gordon Nome Taylor, charged with breaking and entering by night with intent to commit theft, pleaded guilty, and was committed for sentence. Basil Johnson —Barrett, jointly with Tayior. was also committed for sentence. Johnson-Barrett was further charged with receiving stolen tobacco on three counts, .and Ma-unc* Bush with having stolen, the tobacco, valued at £l4 12s the property of Frank Boffa. Both pleaded guilty, and were committed for sentence. Johnson-Barrett and Lp Dunham were charged jointly with robbing Louis Yee of 7s 6d bemg armed with a pistol. They pleaded guilty, and were committed for sentence.
