LIMITATION OF OFFENCE [Pee United Pbess Association.] WELLINGTON, June 28. In a reserved judgment valid throughout New Zealand Mr *T. H. Luxford, S.M., to-day held that the offence against the motor regulations in regard to keeping fire plugs clear arose only when the driver or the person in charge completed the operation of stopping or parking, and such peison was not responsible if an unauthorised person subsequently moved the vehicle into a prohibited area. Jf the transport authorities intended otherwise they had failed to express that intention. , , . ~ He dismissed two charges, being satisfied that someone else had moved the cars to make room for themselves, or to enable them to drive away.
