MEN'S ASSOCIATION The weekly meeting of the executive, of the Otago Hockey Association was held last night, tho president (Mr D. T. Woodficld) occupying tho chair. GROUND AT LOGAN PARK. Tho question of rights to the ground at Logan Park rented by tho association was discussed, tho University delegates stating that tho association had complete rights. It was decided to write to tho Students’ Association advising _ that the association understood that it had this ground on the same conditions as those rented from tho City Corporation. TEAMS SELECTED. The senior selector (Mr E. D. Brown) and the junior selector (Mr A. C. Brown) submitted the following teams to meet North Otago representatives at Dunedin on Saturday:— Senior.—Goal, D. Densem (Albany); full-backs —A. Roberts (H. 5.0.8.), W. Boocoek (Albany); halves—L. Gurr (T.C.0.8.), E. Densem (Albany), S. Simpson (Albany); forwards—G. Rotting (H. 5.0.8.), A. J. Alldred (University), L. Edgintou (H. 5.0.8.). O. Dey (Albany), R. J. Walton (University). Reserves: Back, J. Webb (H.5.0.8.)i forwards - E. Rcnniclc (Albany), H. M'Kelvey (Training College). L. Kerens (University) was not available. Junior.—Goal, Carr (A lbany); fullbacks Thomson (Colts), Seel.ve (Colts); halves Bedford (Albany), Sanderson (Colts), Galiand (Albany); forwards Stewart (Albany), Gray (High School), Patrick (High School), Alexander (University), Ramsay (Wesley). Reserves: Back, Wright (High School); forward, Henderson (Colts 1. Mong (Albany), Archer (Albany), Colvin (High School), and Osborne (Colts) were also required to report for practice. E. Densem w-as appointed captain of tile senior team and Bedford of the junior team. ' VISIT TO OAMARU. The Albany Club ivas granted permission to send senior and junior teams to Oamaru on a suitable day to play matches against Oamaru clubs. NEW CUE PRESENTED. Tho Albany Club advised that Mr L. W. Sew Hoy had presented a cup for competition between that club’s junior team and the Oamaru Club’s junior team, and asked for the association’s approval of the arrangement. Approval was granted. MATCH COMMITTEE. The Match Committee reported that it would not fix grounds for the representative matches on Saturday until towards the end of the w<ek. This attitude was being adopted on account of tho condition of the grounds. The committee recommended that the third grade competition be played on Saturday. The report was adopted. CONDITION OF GROUNDS. Mr T. H. Mulholland reported on behalf of a deputation which had waited on the Reserves Committee of the City Council in regard to the state of the grounds. ' Tho deputation had been assured by the committee that its requests w-ould receive full consideration.
