BROKEN FOR SCRAP
END OF VETERAN COASTER [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 29. The coastal steamer John was towed to Evans Day this morning to be run ashore. She is to be broken up for scrap, after nearly 40 years’ service.
