A RECORD OF MURDER

THREE IN TEN HOURS Recently three murders were committed in Paris in 10 hours by a young soldier, who then tried to kill himself. Having two days’ leave, the soldier, Andre Theurier, went from Rueil, his station, to stay with his sister in Paris. The sister was living with the son of an important chemical industrialist. Theurier asked this man for monev and was refused. He then drew his revolver and shot him dead. Next, Theurier went to his old home and shot dead his father and a woman who was with him. Finally, says Reuter, he took a taxi, and after shooting and seriously wounding the driver on the outskirts of Vincy, turned the revolver on himself in an attempt to commit suicide.
