British freighter Sandeate Castle, which is on fire in mid-Atlantic, have abandoned tho ship) and have taken to the lifeboats. The Dollar liner President Pierce and tho British cai-go vessel Blairspey are speeding to the rescue. The fire broke out between decks en route from New York to tho Cape Verde Islands. There were no passengers. CREW PICKED UP NEW YORK, June 27. The President Pierce picked up the crow of tho Sandgato Castle in 37.15 north latitude, 60.06 west longitude. All were safe. ; The Sandgato Castle was sinking rapidly.
