MR SEMPLE’S HEALTH

VISIT TO AUSTRALIA NEXT MONTH [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 27. The -Minister of Public Work (the Hon. R. Semple) will leave Wellington by the Wanganella for Sydney on July 8 on a health visit to Australia. As already announced by the Acting Prime Minister (Mr Fraser) it is Mr Semple’s intention, if his health permits, later to investigate transport and electric power schemes in the Commonwealth. His absence will necessitate a temporary reallocation of his two major portfolios. Tho Minister will leave Wellington to-morrow morning' for Hawke’s Bay and the East Coast, and on Tuesday will drive the last spike in the Mohaka viaduct. Ho expects to return to Wellington at the end of the week.
