AUSTRALIAN LEAGUE TEAM
TOUR OF ENGLAND SYDNEY, June 27. (Received June 28, at 8 a.m.) The Australian selectors last night picked the following 28 Rugby League players for the tour of England. The team will also play at Auckland: — •Backs.—G. Whittle, F. Gilbert, D. M'Lean, J. Reardon, L. Ward, F. Tottey, R. MKinnon, E. Norman, R. Thompson, C. Hazleton, L. Dawson, J. Beaton, B. Williams, P. Williams. Forwards.—L. Heidke, E. Collins, F. Nolan, P. Fairall, R. Stehr, F. Curran, J. Gibbs, S. Pearce, E. Lewis, W. Prigg, A. Norval, G. Maclennan, H. Pierce, F. Griffiths. The team comprises 22 New South Wales representatives and six Queenslanders.
