APPOINTMENTS ANNOUNCED [Pee United. Press Association.] WELLINGTON, June 24. The following appointments to the Royal New Zealand Air Force were announced in the ‘ Gazette ’ to-night G. J. L. Taylor to flying-officer (on probation) and appointed accountant officer at the flying training school at Wigram; W. G. Woodward to be pilotofficer on probation for engineering duties. He will be posted to the flying training school at Wigram for flying training. The following have been appointed to short-service commissions with the
rank of pilot-officer on probation and posted to the flying training school at Wigram:—H. P. V. Dive, U. H. Ward, A. N. Johnston, and L. A. Robertson. The following have been granted the temporary rank of pilot-officer for the period of their training:—J. D. Carmichael, S. W. R. Hughes, K. E. Newton, T. G. Bassett, C. W. Bromley, V. S. Reynolds, and T. 0. Fitzgerald.
