GUN BATTLE IN MEXICO NINE DEATHS Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright VILLAHERMOSA (Mexico), June 23. (Received June 24, at 11 a.m.) Nine persons, including the chief of police, were killed in a gun battle following an attempt by the police to arrest Catholics attending religious services in a private home. Federal troops are cn route to restore order. Tobasco State has banned religious services for several years past.
