SATURDAY'S WRESTLING
The Dominion Wrestling Union has long since discovered that the soundest policy is to provide the New Zealand public with the typo of wrestler who appeals, and an outstanding representative of this class is “ King Kong ” Cox, who will make his second appearance at the Town Hall on Saturday night, when he will meet Hal. Rumberg. Cox, who is familiarly known as the “ Jack Dempsey of wrestling,” has an allAmerican reputation as a rugged and aggressive wrestler, who does not hesitate to strain to the utmost the elastic
rules of the modern sport._ Everything that he does in this direction, however, is in accordance with a well-defined plan. A pupil of the great Farmer Burns, middle-weight champion of the world for many years, he has a mastery over all the moves of the game, and also an outstanding ability to stand up to any amount of punishment. To test Cox to the utmost it would have been difficult for the local association to have secured a man better suited for the job than Rumberg, who has shown that he measures up to the best standards of the men who have come to Dunedin. Further particulars are. advertised.
