LAUNCH MISSING
FIVE ABOARD [Pee United Peess Association.] WHANGAREI, Jane 23. The launch Catherine E, with four men and a woman aboard, which left Russell for llawliiti yesterday, is missing. It is owned by Mr Howie Blorafield, and on board are Mr Wego Ti Hakuraia and bis two sons and Mrs Whui Howe. A heavy sea was running when the launch left Russell. The run to Rawhiti normally takes one and ahalf hours. The Catherine E carried no anchor.
