FAIR TO FINE-SHARP FROSTS The following weather forecast was issued at noon by the Meteorological Office, Wellington, covering the southern districts—Dunedin, Port Chalmers, Tapanui, Winton, Invercargill, Riverton, Orepuki, Bluff, Half moon Bay;— An intense anti-cyclone still covers the Tasman Sea and New Zealand areas. The respective maximum and minimum temperature readings from 9 a.m. until noon were 44deg and 3_s.sdeg, while the barometer maintained a steady pressure of 30.2 in.
