Major-general J. E.. Duigan, C. 8., D. 5.0., will make his first visit to Dunedin since being appointed general officer commanding the New Zealand Military Forces next week. He will arrive by the night train from the north on Monday morning and leave by the second express on Tuesday. Mr A. L Cassie ‘ started out this morning on a visit to Australia. M!r T. O. Bishop, secretary of the New Zealand Employers’ Federation, left this morning on his return to Wellington. Mr Hugh Speight was a passenger by the express to-day, being bound for Wellington. Mr W. Wynyard, of the staff of the Public Trust Office, Whangarei, has been appointed accountant to the Reparations Estates, Samoa.
