EMPIRE'S HOMAGE BROADCAST FINAL DETAILS ANNOUNCED Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, May 1. Tho Broadcasting Corporation has issued the final details of the Empire’s homage broadcast. It will be opened with a recorded extract of the Coronation service, followed by a recorded “ flash ” of the Royal procession, after which a septuagenarian Londoner who remembers the Coronations of George V. and Edward VII., and Queen Victoria’s golden and diamond jubilees, will be the first representative citizen to offer homage. Other Britons will include an Aberdeen woman, who will greet Queen Elizabeth from her native Scotland. The Prime Minister’s homage will be interspersed with that of representatives of the dominions, including a jackaroo speaking from Sydney, and a New Zealand sailor and Maori spokesman using his native tongue from Wellington. As London calls each dominion specially composed trumpet fanfares will be played. Rehearsals will be begun on May 3. SOUVENIR PROGRAMMES TO BE SENT BY AIR MAIL. LONDON, -May 2. Mr Ramsbotham, Minister of Pensions, referring to the difficulty of speedily distributing the programme, which is only just printed, says it is essential to send the programmes, weighing 4cwt, to New Zealand and Australia, to which there is no parcels air mail. Imperial Airways have overcome the difficulty by generously sending the copies by the regular air service, ANOTHER REHEARSAL LONDON, May 2. (Received May 3, at 10.30 a.m.) There was another Coronation rehearsal early to-day, this time for the visit of the King and Queen to the city on May 19.
