MILK FOR SCHOOLS
CREYMBUTH SCHEME BELAYED [Per United Press Association.] GREYMOUTH, April 26. The inauguration of the schools’ milk scheme in Greymouth will be held over until the spring, when it is expected arrangements will bo completed for an adequate supply of fresh milk. This decision is likely according to a statement by Mr A. H. M'Kanc, chairman of the committee, who an-
nounced to-night that it had received no tenders from dairymen for the supply of 10S gallons of milk each day to the local schools. Mr M'Kane said it was regrettable that the dairymen were unwilling to supply milk for the benefit of the health of the school children.
