MR GANDHI’S ATTITUDE \ Press Association —By Telegraph—Copyright P00N.4, April 25. (Received April 26, at 11 a.m.) Mr Gandhi, interviewed, declares that the assurances that he is demanding from the Governors are not tantamount to seeking a parliamentary amendment of the Constitution. On the contrary, he expects an early repeal of the Act. which will be replaced by a measure eased on a constituent Assembly unless Britain ‘ prefers the rule of the naked sword. The ‘ Times of India ’ construes Mr Gandhi’s statement as' proving that he and the Governors are in agreement.
