UNUSUAL FIND IN OTAGO WATERS.—A scallop shell, which was found recently in the nets of fishermen trawling off the Otago Heads. This shell, which is an exact replica of the well-known trade mark design of an oil company, is found in some North Island waters, but its discovery in such a size locally is unusual. The actual shell is slightly larger than shown here, measuring 5 1/4in in width.
