BOY SCOUTS
OPINION HEADQUARTERS MOVED [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 25. A decision to move the headquarters of the Dominion Boy Scouts’ Association from Christchurch to Wellington was reached at a meeting of the newlyelected executive in Wellington on Saturday. Christchurch has been the headquarters for 29 years, and this was the first Dominion Executive meeting ever held in Wellington. The change of headquarters is a feature of the reorganisation scheme discussed at a meeting in Christchurch on April 11, when several members of the old executive protested against the recommendation from the Imperial Council that the Dominion administration required certain improvements. Those present at the meeting on Saturday were Mr Hector Christie, Dominion Chief Commissioner, Commissioner A. Service , (Auckland). Commissioner P. Horner (Hawera), Commissioner J. E. F. Vogel, Commissioner Foster (Wellington), Commissioner J. R. H. Cooksey (Hawke’s Bay).
