THE PREMIER’S VOYAGE
RECEPTION AT JAMAICA AND PANAMA [Per United Press Association.] WELLINGTON, April 25. The Prime Minister (the Rt. Hon. M. J. Savage) has sent the following message to the Acting Prime Minister (tho Hon. P. Fraser): — “ I have just left Jamaica, where 1 paid an official call on the Governor, and was shown over agricultural activities by the Director of Agriculture. When at Panama I paid an official call on the President of the Republic and the Governor of the Panama Zone, and was the guest of the British Minister at the Legation, where I met the Foreign Minister of the Panama Republic. I was cordially received and well looked after at both ports. Members of the Empire Parliamentary Delegation were entertained by the British Minister at Panama, and / were given a parliamentary luncheon at Kingston, as well as being shown round the island by the Jamaican branch of the Empire Parliamentary Association.”
