ILLEGAL ACTIVITIES EIGHTEEN AMESTED Pres* Association—By Telegraph—Copyright VIENNA, April 24. It is officially .announced that It members of the so-called Austrian Nazi General Staff have been arrested on a charge of illegal activities, including the organisation of Herr Hitler’* birthday celebrations in Austria. The announcement is believed to b* intended as a rebuttal of Dr Gayda’* statement in ‘ Giornale d’ltalia ’ that, as a result of the conversations between Signor Mussolini and Dr Schuschnigg, the Austrian Nazis would shortly be invited to enter the Austrian Cabinet. The Austrian newspapers have been forbidden to publish this statement, which is officially described as baseless.
