TOKIO, April 22, Japanese trawlers have an aggregate ; tonnage of 22,500, and are operating. mostly in Australian and other foreign waters. Last year they had a record catch valued at 6,727,000 yjan._ - Meanwhile the exports of tinned sardines from January to March were 47,000 cases, or 45 per cent, above 1936,' severely competing with Canadian sardines.
