landed cost of these is about 18s 6d a case. 1 wonder if the “mugs” in Dunedin will pay £3 or £4 a case this time. Anyway, it won’t worry me much, as to-morrow will see another fruit shop closed, and 1 think I shall try my luck at getting a job on the wharf or the public works.—l am. etc., Small Retailer.
