FIREPROOF SHIPS

A passenger vessel, the first to be rebuilt in compliance _ with the r„-w regulations of the United States Department of Commerce to eliminate for the first time in history the hazard from fire at sea. has been delivered to its owners by the Maryland Dry-dock Company. It will be operated in the West Indies service, and carries 64 passengers and a crew of 47.
