FORESTERS
C.R. Bro. G. Applegarth presided over the fortnightly meeting of Court Pride of Dunedin. The court was in mourning on account of the recent death of a member. An* invitation to Court Enterprise’s opening social on April 27 was accepted. A presentation of a fireside chair was made to P.C.R. Bro. J. -G. Pearson upon his completion of a second term of going through the chairs. Bro. R. Taylor, when making the presentation, referred to the' efficient manner in which Bro. Pearson had carried out his various duties and his willingness in giving extra services at social functions. Bro. Pearson, when returning thanks, stated that it was his intention to still continue to give his services'in the interests of the court. M.S. Bro. S. B. Brettell responded to the visitors’ toast on behalf of Court Enterprise.
