EDUCATION AMENDMENT PREPARING
QUESTIONNAIRE TO ALL AUTHORITIES [Per United Press’ Association.] WELLINGTON, April 23. The Government members of the Education Select Committee of the House of Representatives have been in _ Wellington for the past few days going through the comments of the educational authorities on th© recommendations of the Atmore report as submitted by a questionnaire. On this basis they bilve prepared the groundwork for an amendment to the Education Act to be prepared by the law draftsman. This draft, when completed, will be referred back to the committee for further approval, after which the legislation will be placed before the full membership of the Select Committee on Education and evidence called prior to the submission of the Bill to Parliament.
