GOVERNOR-GENERAL
TO VISIT DUNEDIN IN JUNE OPENING WINTER SHOW The mayor (Rev. E. T. Cox) has received advice that the Governor-Gene-ral (Lord Galway) will visit Dunedin during June. . His Excellency hopes to be in Dunedin for the purpose of opening . the Winter Show on Tuesday, June 8, at 2.30 p.m. At 12.45 p.m. the same day he will attend a luncheon to be tendered by the Dunedin Chamber of Commerce, and at 8 o’clock in the evening he will attend the Otago Farmers’ Union reunion social. On Wednesday, June 9, His Excellency will attend the Dunedin Jockey Club’s race meeting at _ Wingatui. Any other organisations who may desire to invite His Excellency to attend any of their gatherings should communicate immediately with the mayor. '
