MR SIMPSON’S LAW SUIT
WRIT AGAINST OFFICER'S WIFE STRUCK OUT IN MEANTIME Press Association—By Telegraph—Copyright LONDON, April 9. (Received April 10, at 11 a.m.) The Central News Agency says that Mr Ernest Simpson’s lawsuit was struck out from the list of special jury cases for hearing in the current law term. The suit has been marked “ remanent,” meaning that it is left over and may be restored to the list next term, [A message received on January 14 stated: Mr Ernest Simpson has issued a writ for alleged slander against the wife of an Army officer. A later message read as follows:—The Central News Agency says that the action of Mr Ernest Simpson against Mrs Sutherland has been set down for hearing in the Jaw term beginning April 6. It is understpod that Sir Patrick Hastings, K. 0., will represent Mrs Sutherland.]
