COMING-OUT DANCE

“ AT HOME " IN TUDOR HALL The Tudor Hall of the Savoy looked particularly attractive on Wednesday evening, when Mr and Mrs Howard Dodgshun were “ at home ” in honour of their only daughter, Barbara, who that evening made her .debut. The decorative scheme was carried out in massed hydrangeas in all the most beautiful pastel tonmgs, and pot plants, the damask used on the tables being in pink and green to tone with the blooms. In the lounge, where the guests were received, a blazing log fire added a touch of welcome, and in this charming room the debutante stood with her parents, making a pretty picture in her gown of deep ivory satin. The guests at the dance were all of the younger set, and a peep into the ballroom disclosed a very delightful scene, the pretty frocks of the youthful dancers making a kaleidoscope of colour under the everchanging lights. Those invited were: Misses Chris.
